About the role
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, wildlife, and conservancy property through patrols, preventing illegal activities, and assisting with guest walking safaris and game drives.
Requirements
Must have
- Physically fit
- Capable of lifting heavy equipment
- Able to patrol on foot for at least two consecutive hours while carrying a firearm
- Disciplined
- respectful
- and willing to follow instructions
- Passion for conservation
- Willing to work weekends

- and public holidays
Nice to have
- Membership in the National Police Reserve (NPR)
- Prior military
- paramilitary
- or equivalent disciplined service (NYS)
- Previous experience as a ranger
- security officer
- or in wildlife conservation
- Experience handling firearms
- First Aid certification
- Experience guiding walking safaris
- Knowledge of local wildlife
- Valid motorcycle or motor vehicle driving licence
